2023 BAFTA Nomination Predictions

Tomorrow are the 2023 BAFTA nominations. I wanted to share with you all my predictions beforehand. I’m expecting a good day for “Aftersun,” “All Quiet on the Western Front,” and “Triangle of Sadness” while the typical Oscar contenders such as “The Banshees of Inisherin” (which I have leading in nominations overall) and “Everything Everywhere All At Once” will do perfectly fine. I believe “The Fabelmans” will have a rough day, but that’s to be expected after it failed to get longlisted in a ton of key categories. Given the British Academy’s recent trends, I should be predicting more shocking omissions in certain categories (the one pick I’m going to be bold with is predicting Brendan Fraser to miss given how poorly “The Whale” did with the longlists) but we’ll stick with this for now.
