By Matt Neglia
Adapted from J.C. Lee’s play to the screen by director Julius Onah and J.C. Lee himself, “Luce” made its debut at this year’s Sundance Film Festival where I had the pleasure of seeing it and being completely blown away by its tension, drama, themes and characters. I have seen it two more times since then and cannot wait to revisit what is surely one of the most riveting films of the year. Julius and J.C. were kind enough to chat with me about the film ahead of its release date on August 2nd.
