The Next Best Picture Podcast – Interview With “Greyhound” VFX Supervisors, Nathan McGuiness & Pete Bebb

By Will Mavity

Greyhound” may have come out earlier this year but it has been able to stand out amongst a crowded Oscar season for having some of the bigger production values seen in any movie this year. Its visual effects work is the kind of large blockbuster filmmaking that audiences are sorely missing in their lives right now and with tomorrow’s visual effects shortlist to be announced by the Academy, we have a feeling the work from Apple’s WWII submarine movie starring Tom Hanks, will make the cut. VFX supervisors Nathan McGuiness and Pete Bebb were kind enough to spend some time talking about their experience of making the film. Take a listen down below and enjoy!
