Disney has released the trailer for the live-action remake of “Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs” with Mike Webb’s “Snow White” starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot. The film will be released in theaters on March 21st, 2025.
Plot Synopsis: The story follows Princess Snow White, who is forced to flee into the forest after her stepmother casts an evil spell on her. She finds shelter with the Seven Dwarfs and must face the Queen’s attempts to murder her.
What do you all think of the trailer? I think Rachel Zegler is a very talented singer and actress, and I’m rooting for her to do well in this industry, which has been both kind and very tough on her so early in her career. However, this is a truly awful trailer that represents everything we can’t stand about live-action remakes in this industry. Soulless, needless CGI pop versions of songs are already considered timeless, so why feel the need to update them? Add in the consistently wooden acting of Gal Godot, and you will have a recipe for disaster in early 2025 that I’m sure critics will have a field day with. At least the costumes look lavish and beautiful. The rest of the movie? Not so much. What do you all think? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below or on our X account.
