“Saturday Night” had its world premiere at the 2024 Telluride Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for Jason Reitman and Gill Keenan’s screenplay, the real-time editing of the film’s narrative, and the performances from the ensemble cast, which consists of primarily young and up and coming talent in Hollywood. Three of the film’s stars, Gabriel LaBelle (Lorne Michaels), Cory Michael Smith (Chevy Chase), and Tommy Dewey (Michael O’Donoghue), were all kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their work on the film. First, we have my interview with Golden Globe-nominee LaBelle, followed by Will Mavity’s interview with Cory Michael Smith, and then we finish with my chat with Dewey about both Reitman’s film and the Sundance indie film “Your Monster.” Please be sure to check out the film, which is now available to rent digitally from Sony Pictures Releasing and is up for your consideration for this year’s Academy Awards in all eligible categories. Thank you, and enjoy!
