It’s been over a year since the premiere at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival but now, the dark-indie comedy “The Climb,” was finally released in theaters this weekend through Sony Pictures Classics. The film tracks the toxic friendship between the two over the course of many years in long and elaborately staged sequences. Michael Angelo Covino and Kyle Marvin co-wrote the script and star in the movie together with Covino serving as director. Michael and Kyle were kind enough to talk to me back in March about their film before its previously scheduled release in the Spring got pushed back due to Covid-19. That interview is finally available for you to listen to and please do seek out the film if you can! Enjoy!
