For this week’s main podcast review, I am joined by Josh Parham, Cody Dericks, Tom O’Brien & guest Yasmine Kandil. This week we’re reviewing Sam Mendes’ latest film, “Empire Of Light,” starring Olivia Colman, Micheal Ward, Toby Jones & Colin Firth. The film is Mendes’ most personal film to date as he lovingly captures the magic of a movie theater off the south coast of England in the 1980s and the people who inhabit it. What did we think of the performances, writing, cinematography by Roger Deakins and the score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross? Please tune in below to hear our thoughts on these aspects and how it will perform at the Oscars. Thank you for listening, and enjoy!
