The Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA, also known as the Actor Awards, and formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards or SAG Awards will announce their nominations representing the best in acting for 2025 on Wednesday, January 7th. This is an important precursor for the Oscars, as they help us understand who will be nominated for the acting categories and where support may lie for Best Picture since the largest voting block of the Academy are still actors.
