Walt Disney Pictures has released the trailer for James Mangold’s “Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny” starring Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas & John Rhys-Davies. The film will be released in theaters on June 30rd, 2023.
Plot Synopsis: In 1969, American archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones lives against the backdrop of the Space Race. Jones has started to feel doubts when the U.S. Government recruited former World War II enemies in desperation to beat the Soviet Union out in the competition. His goddaughter, Helena, accompanies him on his journey. Meanwhile, Voller, a NASA member and ex-Nazi is involved with the moon-landing program who wishes to rectify the world into a better place as he sees fit.
What do you all think of the trailer? In what is one of the most anticipated films of 2023, Harrison Ford is returning to another one of his beloved roles for a fifth and final time. “Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny” is the first “Indiana Jones” film not to be directed by Steven Spielberg and is instead being directed by James Mangold (“Ford v Ferrari“). The trailer’s action, stunts, visuals, and adrenaline-pumping adventure show tremendous promise for this franchise and iconic character to go out with a bang. The de-aged Harrison Ford, I’m sure, will get a lot of attention on it, and the story will hopefully be better than what “Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull” delivered but ultimately, when you hear John Williams’ iconic score (in what will be the final film score of his legendary career) kick in, how can you not be excited?
