The Next Best Picture Podcast – Our Immediate Reactions To The 2023 SAG Award Winners

Last night, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) held their 29th annual awards ceremony, rewarding the best acting in film and television for 2022. Because the show was without a broadcast partner, the ceremony was streamed for the first time ever on Netflix’s YouTube channel, and the response from those within the community has been largely positive! There were some expected wins, unexpected wins, moving speeches, and very interesting shakeups within the acting races as we head into final Oscar voting on March 2nd in the lead-up to the 95th Academy Awards on March 12th. There is a lot to talk about here regarding how this year’s winners will impact the acting races and Best Picture at the Oscars, so let’s dive in! Joining me for this instant reactions podcast are Zoe Rose BryantDan BayerMeredith Loftus & Eve O’Dea. Tune in below to listen and enjoy!
