By Matt Neglia
For our second review this week, Nicole Ackman, Dan Bayer, Ema Sasic, Zoe Rose Bryant & Casey Lee Clark joined me to discuss the newest film from Academy Award-winner Guillermo del Toro, “Nightmare Alley,” starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Toni Collette & Richard Jenkins. Adapted from the 1946 novel of the same name, the film is a dark modern-day noir with incredible craftsmanship and much to explore in the way of characters and themes. What did we think of the story, the crafts, the performances, and how do we feel about its awards prospects, especially following del Toro’s success with “The Shape Of Water?” We discuss all of these points and more in our SPOILER-FILLED review, which you can listen to down below. Enjoy!
