Alexandre Desplat is one of the hardest working and most acclaimed film composers working today. Winning an Oscar for his work on “The Grand Budapest Hotel” in 2014, his most recent work on “The Shape Of Water” has earned him Critics Choice, BAFTA nominations and a Golden Globe win for Best Original Score. Alexandre was gracious enough to give me 10 minutes of his time while he was traveling back to Paris to talk about his work on Guillermo del Toro’s latest on the Next Best Picture Podcast.
