“Children No More: Were And Are Gone” is a documentary short film directed by Hilla Medalia. It follows activists in Tel Aviv who gather weekly to demonstrate their opposition to the war in Gaza with a silent vigil for the children killed in Israeli attacks. The film had its world premiere at DOC NYC, where it received positive reviews, and has since been nominated for Best Documentary Short Film at the 98th Academy Awards. Medalia was kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about her experience and work on the film, which you can listen to or watch below. We hope you’ll be able to check out the film one day, which currently has no U.S. distributor. It is up for your consideration for this year’s Academy Awards. Thank you, and enjoy!
