The plot synopsis for “Downsizing” is as follows:
When scientists discover how to shrink humans to five inches tall as a solution to overpopulation, Paul (Matt Damon) and his wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to abandon their stressed lives in order to get small and move to a new downsized community — a choice that triggers life-changing adventures.
The film opens December 22nd 2017.
So what do you think? Is this going to be an Oscar player or not? Alexander Payne has a fantastic track record but the film does not seem to be lighting the festival circuit on fire as his other films have in the past. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
