What do you all think of the trailer?
I was fortunate to see this at Sundance in person (it did not play virtually), and I can honestly tell you it was the best film from the festival. Such a delicate, complex, and achingly beautiful story of regret, missed opportunities, and fate, Celine Song’s remarkable feature directorial debut is an absolute emotional knockout with mature storytelling, beautiful writing, and heartbreakingly lived-in performances that will captivate you. The trailer perfectly captures the tone of what Celine Song has created, and I cannot wait for you all to see it. Expect it to be one of the most passionately beloved films of 2023. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since I saw it. It’s truly something special and if A24 plays their cards right, it could even contend in next year’s awards season.
