What do you all think of the trailer? While I was not wholly impressed with “The Meg” when it was released in 2018, the fact that Ben Wheatley (“High-Rise” and “In The Earth“) is directing this sequel has me somewhat intrigued. Much like the first film, who doesn’t want to see Jason Statham fight a giant Meg for two hours? The visual effects certainly look impressive, and the trailer’s use of Heart’s “Barracuda” is well-placed to sell this as a fun, silly, and hopefully thrilling time this summer.
