As quarantine continues, so too does our 2014 retrospective. This week we’re taking a look at one of the major contenders for Best Picture that year: Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” With an impeccable cast led by the sensational Ralph Fiennes and with some all-time great technicals, this film holds a special place in the hearts of film lovers. Recently re-released as a part of the Criterion Collection and winner of 4 Academy Awards, how does the film hold up on a re-watch? Here to discuss it with me is Nicole Ackman, Josh Parham & Dan Bayer. Also be sure to check out our other 2014 reviews of “Selma,” “Ida” & “Foxcatcher.”
