“The Electrical Life Of Louis Wain” had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, went on to play at the Toronto International Film Festival, and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. It tells the biographical story of the eccentric and brilliant artist Louis Wain, brought to life by Benedict Cumberbatch in another terrific performance. Director and writer Will Sharpe was kind enough to spend some time talking with me about the design of the film, working with Cumberbatch, his chemistry with Claire Foy, some of the more challenging yet fully realized sequences in the film, and more. Be sure to please take a listen down below and check out the film on Prime Video. Enjoy!
