“R.M.N.,” the latest film from Palme d’Or winning director Cristian Mungiu, had its world premiere at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it received strong reviews for its writing, direction, performances, and use of long takes. The film is being released in theaters this weekend from IFC Films and is a haunting, layered piece of work that still has those who have seen it buzzing about its themes and striking ending.
