Much has been written about “Decision To Leave’s” direction by Park Chan-wook, but a lot of what makes his work stand out is the collaboration with cinematographer Kim Ji-yong. Some of the year’s most vivid compositions and haunting images have come from South Korea’s official submission for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film this year.
