By Matt Neglia
For our main podcast review this week, I am joined by Nicole Ackman, Lauren LaMagna & Amy Smith. Today, we’re discussing the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness,” starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg & Rachel McAdams. Director Sam Raimi returns to Marvel after helming the original “Spider-Man” trilogy, and he brings his distinct filmmaking style and love of the horror genre to inject new life into the world’s biggest franchise. Is it enough to overcome the well-established style that Kevin Feige has had in place for over a decade? What did we think of the story, the writing, the performances, and the visual effects? We discuss all of these points and more in our review below. For those who want to hear us discuss spoilers, we save that for its own section at the end. Thank you, and enjoy!
