Our latest throwback review, in anticipation of the release of “She Said,” is for Alan J. Paula’s 1976 Best Picture-nominee, “All The President’s Men” starring Dustin Hoffman, Robert Redford, Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, Hal Holbrook, Jason Robards & Jayne Alexander. The film was considered timely upon its release and has held up as the gold standard for how to craft a story about journalism to this day. Joining me for this throwback review, I have Eve O’Dea, Dan Bayer, Danilo Castro & Brendan Hodges. Tune in as we discuss the all-timer screenplay by William Goldman, the crafts, including its Oscar-winning sound and art direction, the performances, and how it performed during its awards season run in 1976. Thank you for all your support, and enjoy!
