The 2024 Cannes Film Festival Lineup

Thierry Frémaux announced the official lineup for the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival this morning. The festival had a lot to live up to after last year’s historic year, which saw the world premieres of eventual Oscar Best Picture nominees “Anatomy Of A Fall,” “Killers Of The Flower Moon,” and “The Zone Of Interest.” As is the case every year, the lineup was highly impressive, filled with festival favorites and newcomers from all over the world. We currently know this year’s jury president will be Academy Award-nominee Greta Gerwig (“Barbie“). We do not know the other jury members at this time. After covering the festival for the first time in person last year, Josh Parham will join me on the Croisette this year. Expect more additions in the coming days as Frémaux mentioned a few times during the announcement that this year’s lineup is not final with this announcement. This year’s Cannes Film Festival runs from May 15th to the 25th.
