The 2021 Tony Award Winners

By Matt Neglia

Last night, the Tony Awards returned after being pushed off last year due to the pandemic. The nominees were still the same (and in some categories, there were fewer than usual). Still, last night was more of a celebration as many within the theatre community proudly proclaimed “Broadway Is Back” with many extravagant musical numbers, inspiring speeches, and celebrating the art form many love and hold dear to their hearts. To say it was a memorable and special evening is an understatement. The Next Best Theatre team will be returning soon with a podcast to discuss their thoughts on the evening but until then, click below to see last night’s complete list of winners!
