The Sundance film “Menashe” has had its first trailer land online. Shot for over two years in Brooklyn New York with real Hasidic Jews and mostly in the Yiddish language, “Menache” tells the story of a widower who attempts to gain custody of his son.

What do we think? While this will not a Foreign Language Film contender due to it being an American production, it certainly looks like a sweet, little independent film. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
