Ever since its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, the film has received mixed to negative reactions for its depictions of teenage suicide, performances, and writing. Coming off the heels of the critically acclaimed film “The Father,” we discuss what went wrong, what could’ve been improved upon and how the two films compare in Zeller’s filmography.
