“Chevalier” had its world premiere at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews for Kelvin Harrison Jr’s performance as French revolutionary and violinist, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, and the presentation of the character and story through Stephen Williams’ direction and Stefani Robinson’s screenplay. Harrison Jr. was kind enough to return to the podcast to talk about his role in the film with Ema Sasic while I had the pleasure of interviewing Williams and Robinson together. Each brought their own perspectives and experiences towards crafting one of the most thrilling period pieces you’ll likely see all year about a once-forgotten man whose story is finally being told. Please take a listen down below, enjoy, and be sure to check out the film, which releases in theaters on April 21st from Searchlight Pictures. Thank you!
