“Strange World” is the newest film from Walt Disney Animation Studios and reunites director Don Hall with screenwriter Qui Nguyen after they previously collaborated on “Raya And The Last Dragon.” With producer Roy Conli, the trio has delivered a progressive family drama about fathers and sons, legacy and acceptance set against the backdrop of the sci-fi adventure genres that borrows influence from many past films to tell a modern story.
