“Matilda The Musical” had its world premiere at the London Film Festival and is now coming to Netflix on December 25th. Based on the 2011 stage musical of the same name, which is based on the 1988 novel by Roald Dahl (which was turned into the popular 1996 film by Danny DeVito), the film has drawn a positive response for its musical numbers, performances from breakout star Alisha Weir, Emma Thompson and Lashana Lynch and adaptation from the screen to the stage.
