“Fair Play” had its world premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where it received strong reviews for its two lead performances from Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich and Chloe Domont’s direction and writing. The film makes the feature directorial debut for Domont, who is no stranger to being behind the camera as she’s taken all her experience working in short films and television to this steaming pressure cooker of a film. Domont was kind enough to spend a few minutes speaking with us about where the idea for the film came from, working with the actors, how to chart the course of tension, and more. Please take a listen and be sure to check out the film, which is now playing in limited release and will be available to stream on Netflix on October 6th. Thank you, and enjoy!
