Jörg Widmer has worked with acclaimed director Terrence Malick before. However, “A Hidden Life” marks the first time he is credited as the director of photography for one of his films. Hailed as one of the most visually striking films of 2019, the movie represents a return to stronger narrative filmmaking from Malick. Jörg talks to us about his process of working with the mysterious director, what challenges he faced working on the film, what he wants people to take away from the film, and more!
