The European Film Academy Reveals The Shortlists For The 2026 EFA Awards

The European Film Academy has shortlisted 68 feature-length films for a possible nomination for the European Film Awards, which take place on January 16th, 2027 in Athens. The shortlist includes 45 feature films, 15 documentaries, and eight animated features from 40 countries. 25 of the films are directed or co-directed by women.
