The Association Of Motion Picture Sound (AMPS) have announced their 12th annual nominations recognizing excellence from sound professionals across the industry, highlighting roles such as production sound mixers, supervising dialogue/ADR editors, supervising sound editors or sound designers and re-recording mixers. Honorees are selected from across five categories: Feature Films, Television Dramas, Factual Films, Production and Post-Production Audio Products. The winners will be announced on January 23rd. The AMPS Awards are a key part of the awards season calendar, with past winners frequently going on to achieve BAFTA and Oscar success. THE ZONE OF INTEREST, winner of the 2024 AMPS Feature Film Sound award, continued the strong record of AMPS winners, meaning that over the past 11 years, AMPS Feature Film Sound recipients have gone on to win the BAFTA on 10 occasions and the Academy Award 7 times.
