The 2022 Venice Film Festival Lineup

Earlier this morning, artistic director of the Venice Film Festival Alberto Barbera announced the official lineup for the festival’s 79th edition. Our very own Tom O’Brien will be attending this year on behalf of Next Best Picture. The festival runs from August 31st – September 10th, 2022.

Julianne Moore (“Gloria Bell“) will be the president of this year’s jury overseeing the films in competition. She will be joined by Argentine director Mariano Cohn (“Official Competition“), Italian director Leonardo Di Costanzo (“Ariaferma”), French director Audrey Diwan (“Happening“), Iranian actress Leila Hatami (“A Separation”), Japanese-UK writer Kazuo Ishiguro (“Living”) & Spanish director Rodrigo Sorogoyen (“The Beasts”).
