By Will Mavity During Oscar season, the majority of coverage tends to go to the “above the line categories.” I’ve always found the glimpses the Oscars give us of the ‘tech’ categories to be some of the most rewarding parts of the Oscar process as a whole, in particular, the glimpses Oscar season gives us into the incredible process of creating visual effects for the year’s nominees.
