Trailer – “ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA”

Marvel Studios has released the trailer forĀ “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania” starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Jonathan Majors & Randall Park. It will be released in theaters on February 17th, 2023.

Plot Synopsis: Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne, go on a new adventure exploring the Quantum Realm.

What do you all think of the trailer? While he didn’t start off as my favorite character in the MCU, I cannot deny that Scott Lang, aka. Ant-Man, has grown on me over the years, thanks to Paul Rudd’s effortless charm and Peyton Reed’s directing of these standalone films. This looks to be the character’s biggest film yet, with an exploration of the Quantum Realm, which will involve extensive visual effects work and who knows what kind of twists and turns the story will present. I love seeing Kathryn Newton receiving the opportunity to play Cassie Lang, who will have a more prominent role than in other films, and the return of veterans Michelle Pfieffer and Michael Douglas. However, it’s the presence of Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, who we previously saw in “Loki” as a variant version of himself (it’s all very complicated) and absolutely crushed what he was given to work with. The trailer wisely ends with him as he’s set to be the MCU’s next “big bad” following Thanos. To be honest, I do not know how much more the MCU has the capacity to surprise me but I’m remaining hopeful. What do you all think, though?
