Last night, the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) held their 31st annual awards ceremony, rewarding the best acting in film and television for 2024. For the third year in a row, the ceremony was streamed through Netflix. There were some heartfelt tributes to LA in the wake of fires earlier this year and some delightful moments featuring Kristen Bell as host. There were some expected winners and slightly unexpected winners, moving and controversial speeches, and a certain level of doubt cast over our final Oscar predictions (which a whole other group of NBP members recorded before the ceremony, which you can listen to here).
