For this month’s Patreon Throwback Podcast review, Nicole Ackman, Dan Bayer, Lauren LaMagna & Danilo Castro and I are taking a look back at where it all began. Director Zack Snyder’s first official entry into the DC Extended Universe began in 2013 with “Man Of Steel” and at the time it was met with a fairly positive reception. It rebooted the Superman franchise, introduced the world to Henry Cavill and launched a fanbase that has continued to be passionate supporters of the director’s work and the DCEU, even if critics have been less kind, till this day. What did we think of this film? The performances from Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe? The crafts on display, including Hans Zimmer’s score? Tune in below to find out as we prepare ourselves for the upcoming 4-hour long “Zack Snyder’s Justice League.” Enjoy!
