Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has had a huge rise within the film industry over the past few years. After starring in “The Greatest Showman,” “Aquaman,” “Us” and then winning an Emmy earlier this year for his work on “Watchmen,” he now finds himself in the crucial role of Bobby Seale in Aaron Sorkin’s Oscar contender, “The Trial Of The Chicago 7.” Yahya was kind enough to take some time to talk to us about the importance of the role to him, the preparation he did in playing such an iconic historical figure, his experience in making the film and more!
