The Next Best Picture Podcast – Interview With “Hold Your Breath” Director/Writer Karrie Crouse & Co-Director Will Joines

Hold Your Breath” had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and marked the feature directorial debut of Karrie Crouse and William Joines. Set in 1930s Oklahoma, the story revolves around a young mother (Sarah Paulson) haunted by the past. She becomes convinced that a mysterious presence in dust storms threatens her family, and she takes extraordinary measures to protect them. Crouse and Joines were both kind enough to spend some time talking with us about their work on the film, which you can listen to below.
