Like we did last year, throughout awards season we will not only still be providing you with our main film review of the week on the podcast but we will also be providing you with an additional review every week so we can get most of the films in the awards race covered.
Our extra review this week on the podcast is the adaptation of the memoirs of father and son Nic and David Sheff titled “Beautiful Boy.” It stars Steve Carell, Timothée Chalamet, Maura Tierney & Amy Ryan. Each week we will attempt to have a guest on for these reviews and for this week, for the first time ever on the Next Best Picture Podcast, we have our good friend Aaron White from Feelin Film. Together, Aaron and I talk about the film’s performances, the struggle that parents go through in trying to protect their children, the film’s take on drug addiction, its awards chances and much more.
Thank you and please feel free to subscribe on either SoundCloud, Spotify, Tunein, GooglePlay, iTunes, Stitcher, Player FM, CastBox, Acast, or you can have a listen down below. Please take a moment if you like the show to leave us a review on Apple Podcasts here. Also be sure to help support us on Patreon for as little as $1 a month and you’ll receive exclusive podcast content.
