The 2021 Venice Film Festival Lineup

After having last year’s festival be a bit watered down by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Venice Film Festival has come roaring back this year with a mighty lineup of world premieres which promises for an exciting return to form for the festival. The full lineup for the 78th edition of the festival has been announced today and can be seen below.

Bong Joon-ho (“Parasite“) will be the president of this year’s jury overseeing the films in competition. He will be joined by recent Oscar winner Chloe Zhao (“Nomadland“), Virginie Efira, Cynthia Erivo, Sarah Gadon, Saverio Costanzo & Alexander Nanau. The festival will take place September 1st – 11th.
