The 2020 Cannes Film Festival Official Selection

Even though the 2020 Cannes Film Festival was officially cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, festival president Pierre Lescure and general delegate Thierry Frémaux still announced the 56 films that made the cut for the 2020 Official Selection. These movies will be able to carry the Cannes label into other film festivals (if they happen) later this year. We may not know which of these would’ve won the Palme d’Or but we can now at least think of what could’ve been.
