The 2018 National Board Of Review (NBR) Winners

The National Board Of Review have announced their winners for 2018. The over 100 year old New York based voting body are the first major critics group out of the gate this awards season. The winners for their Best Picture prize from the last two years “Manchester By The Sea” and “The Post” both went on to receive Best Picture nominations. What won this year?

Breakthrough Performance: Thomasin Mckenzie – “Leave No Trace
Best Directorial Debut: Bo Burnham – “Eighth Grade
Best Foreign Language Film: “Cold War
Best Documentary: “RBG
Best Ensemble: “Crazy Rich Asians
William K. Everson Film History Award: “The Other Side Of The Wind” & “They’ll Love Me When I’m Dead”
