The Academy Announces Shortlists For The 91st Academy Awards

​Today, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced 9 of their shortlists for the 2019 Oscars including Best Makeup & HairstylingBest Visual EffectsBest Foreign Language FilmBest Documentary and for the first time ever Best Original Score and Best Original Song. Animated, Live-Action and Documentary Shorts were announced as well.

​7 films have been narrowed down for Best Makeup & Hairstyling, 10 for Visual Effects and the Shorts, 15 for Song, Score, Documentary Feature and 9 for Foreign Language Film.
