LAIKA has released the official trailer for Travis Knight’s “Wildwood,” starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Jacob Tremblay, Carey Mulligan, Mahershala Ali, Awkwafina, Angela Bassett, Jake Johnson, Charlie Day, Amandla Stenberg, Jemaine Clement, Maya Erskine, Tantoo Cardinal, Tom Waits, and Richard E. Grant. The film will be released in theaters by Fathom Entertainment on October 23rd.
Plot Synopsis: Wildwood follows 12-year-old Prue McKeel as she enters the forbidden “Impassable Wilderness” outside Portland, Oregon, after a murder of crows abducts her baby brother, Mac. Joined by her classmate Curtis, Prue navigates a hidden, magical world of talking animals, bandits, and warring factions to rescue her sibling.
