What do you all think of the trailer? I’ve loved the “Mission: Impossible” franchise from top to bottom; even what I consider the worst (“Mission: Impossible 2”) came out at an impressionable age when I was still captivated by Tom Cruise doing movie star things as Ethan Hunt. Now, nearly thirty years later, it appears Paramount Pictures is putting out the fuse on the blockbuster action franchise with “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.” I kind of hate that they did away with the “Dead Reckoning – Part Two” title, but I’m glad this final entry appears to still be a direct sequel to “Dead Reckoning – Part One” and has ditched that film’s visual appearance and taken on a more vibrant look. The action looks incredible (especially everything dealing with the underwater submarine), the scale appears massive, and if this is indeed the last time we’ll see the IMF, then it looks like everyone is going out with a bang, including Tom, who at 62 years of age is still dangling off planes in the sky. Never change Tom. What do you all think? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below or on our X account.
