Trailer – “Maestro”

Netflix has released the official trailer for Bradley Cooper’s “Maestro” starring Carey Mulligan, Bradley Cooper, Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, Sarah Silverman, Josh Hamilton, Scott Ellis, Gideon Glick, Sam Nivola, Alexa Swinton & Miriam Shor. The film will have its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, then arrive in select theaters on November 22nd before coming to Netflix on December 20th.

Plot Synopsis: Maestro is a towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship between Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. A love letter to life and art, Maestro at its core is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love.

What do you all think of the trailer? Many of us were massive fans of Cooper’s directorial debut “A Star Is Born” and have been heavily anticipating this. The trailer highlights the stunning black-and-white photography of Matthew Libatique while giving us a glimpse into the transformative performances of Carey Mulligan and Bradley Cooper. It appears the story will highlight their romance over several decades, but other than that not much else is conveyed here. Another trailer will likely follow at some point, revealing more than this teaser does, but what do you all think for now? Does it look like it will live up to what Cooper gave us before? Is this the film that will finally bring him his first Oscar win? What about Carey Mulligan? Please let us know your thoughts in the comments section below or our Twitter account.
