A24 has released the official trailer for Rose Glass’ “Love Lies Bleeding” starring Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian, Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco & Ed Harris. The film will have its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and then release in theaters on March 8th, 2024.
Plot Synopsis: From Director Rose Glass comes an electric new love story; reclusive gym manager Lou falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder headed through town to Vegas in pursuit of her dream. But their love ignites violence, pulling them deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family.
What do you all think of the trailer? I was so impressed with “Saint Maud” that this is 100% one of my most anticipated films of this year’s Sundance Film Festival and I think it’s going to absolutely kill it in the Midnight Section if this trailer is any indication. With a retro style, a hard edge and what appears to be another gem of a performance from Kristen Stewart (with what could be a breakout role for Katy O’Brian), this looks stylish and a lot of fun.
