By Daniel Howat
No other show this past television season felt as pertinent as “Station Eleven,” considering it’s a miniseries about a pandemic and was in the middle of shooting when its production was forced to pause due to the actual COVID-19 pandemic. The HBO Max miniseries is now nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Himesh Patel. Himesh was kind enough to spend a few minutes talking with us about what it was like working on the show, how he felt about his Emmy nomination, what it was like becoming a father during production, his feelings towards his leading role in Danny Boyle’s “Yesterday” and if he would like to one day tackle the iconic role of James Bond. We hope you enjoy the conversation. Thank you.
